Dang… it’s been a while… Hi friends!! I can’t believe it’s been over 3 years since my last post??? Let’s just say life has been VERY busy and VERY challenging… a whole lot has happened… so let’s do a quick and dirty recap:

1. Aug’19 – I was offered a role in Atlanta at my current employer and we ended up moving in Jan’20.
2. Oct’19 – I turned the big 3-0!!
3. Mar’20 – COVID hit and we were stuck inside (like everyone else), in a new place, where we knew no-one (not ideal).
4. Oct’21 – The girls turned 5!!!
5. Dec’21 – SURPRISE!!!! WE’RE PREGNANT WITH BABY #3!!!
6. Mar’22 – WE GOT A DOG!! Bogey – a “petite” red golden doodle (he is the opposite of petite LOL).
7. Jun’22 – Izzy May is born!!!
8. Oct’22 – The twins turned 6 and are officially elementary-school age! HOW??!!
9. Dec’22 – We spent 3 weeks back in Boston over the holidays with family, and it was just what the doctor ordered.

Since the start of the year, we have just been in the trenches of life – most days we are surviving and not thriving, but that’s OK – I know these moments in life are short and sweet.

I know there is plenty of things I’m sure I’ve forgotten (3+ years is a lot to cover), but that’s the big stuff. Life is chaotically beautiful. The twins are in Kindergarten, Izzy is 10 months old (crawling, almost walking, eating all the foods she can get her hands on, has two teeth, and is becoming very chatty!), and our pup is a mischievous devil, but we love him! We are still both working full time – so our days are filled with work (at home and at the office), schlepping the kids to school and all of the activities (dance, swimming, and gymnastics), and lots of birthday parties on weekends. I try to squeeze in a yoga class when I can and I basically cannot survive without audiobooks (how else does one get through 10 loads of laundry on a weekend?)!

I’ve been slowly building my photography client base here in the Atlanta area. For obvious reasons (*cough* COVID *cough), I paused the business for a while, except for close family and friends. But I definitely plan to make it more of a focus in 2023, as it’s truly something that brings me so much joy!

I’m going to attempt to try and keep up with the blog, but we’ll see. As you can imagine, my cup is very full at the moment! I will say that I’ve been having a ton of fun on TikTok, posting all things fashion (and books!) on that platform. I’m teetering with the idea of adding a Books page to my website so you call can see what I’m reading and reviewing (if you enjoy romance, fantasy, and suspense – I got you covered!).
