Easter Baskets for Toddlers

Toddler Easter Baskets

Easter is just around the corner and I somehow did not wait until the last minute to get the girl’s baskets in order! If I’m being honest, I found myself perusing the aisles at Target a few weeks back and over did it by buying them a whole lot of things (as one always does at Target… right? Tell me I’m not alone!).

I tried to have a good balance of activities, cute everyday items, and obviously candy/treats. With that, here’s what I’m filling the girl’s baskets with this year:

  • Construction paper and Ultra Washable Markers (Ultra being the key word here!!!). I swear by these markers. When the girls inevitably color all over the furniture and walls, the colors come right out with just the swipe of a wipe! Warning though, they dry out super quick, so keep those caps handy.
  • Books! Charley is obsessed with Llama Llama and Maddy is obsessed with The Pout Pout Fish, so these two books seemed very appropriate. Can’t wait to read them with the girls on Sunday!
  • Purple sparkly sneakers from Cat & Jack at Target (our personal favorites). For only $16.99, these shoes are amazing. We’ve been buying them for years and keep getting them in new colors each season. They are the perfect easy slip-on sneaker for your crazy active toddler. Oh, and they are obvi so cute. The girls always get so many compliments when they wear them.
  • Peeps, Hersey Kisses, and Reeses M&Ms 🙂
  • Bubbles! One can never go wrong with bubbles.
  • Cute striped t-shirts for Spring/Summer (also from Cat & Jack at Target).

Silly enough, I completely forgot to buy easter eggs to put in their baskets!! Whoops haha That would have been a better place to store their candies though… oye. I’ll try to remember this for next year!

Here’s to hoping the rest of the week flies by – I don’t know about you all, but I am READY for the weekend and very excited to spend a weekend with family!
